If anyone cannot make it to Brother Dave Evans memorial being put on by his family at the Hall this Saturday (29 July) at 2:00 pm and you would like for me to mention anything on your behalf, please let me know and I will read it out loud for you. It is always a sad time when we lose one of our Brothers or Sisters that did so much for our Local, but family members like to hear our fun and humorous stories of how their loved one touched our lives. Rest in peace my Brother and I am sure you are raising a big ole fuss about non-union workers doing the plumbing up in heaven this week!
OUR BROTHER COULD USE YOUR HELP! – Stefan Glöckner has been battling cancer. Many of you have worked with him and we could use your help. Any donation you can make will make a difference as he cannot work anymore while he continues to go through this fight!
Stephan has been going through chemotherapy for a while and fighting like hell. Those that have worked with him can attest to his love of this Union and his humor. He is a great friend so let’s see what we can do to help ease the financial burden he and his family are going through during this rough time.
Click on the link above to go to the Go Fund Me page and give what you can to our Brother please.
Click here to read the flyer about how to help this Saturday at the Round House in Santa Fe. We need a strong showing to fight the Right to Work Bill. Take the time to read this flyer and see how it affects our local.
